About Organization Directors
Organization Directors is an association management company dedicated to providing worthwhile, efficient, and comfortable meetings and conferences. We know your time is valuable and that you have many opportunities to attend meetings. We work with an association’s board of directors to create and produce meetings and conferences worth your investment of time and money. Most of our associations offer presentations by well-known speakers and offer continuing education credit for attorneys, accountants, trust officers, certified financial planners, and insurance professionals.
About Brenda Herrington
Brenda has owned Organization Directors since 1991 where she has planned, organized and executed meetings and conferences.
Clients have included the International Association for Financial Planning (IAFP), Institute of Certified Financial Planners (ICFP), Financial Planning Association (FPA), the Northern California Planned Giving Council, the Estate Planning Councils of San Francisco, the East Bay, and the Peninsula, the SF Small Business Network, and the Business Executives Association of Marin County.
She began her career at 22 as a stock broker for Financial Planners Equity Corporation in Novato. At that time, she began volunteer work with the International Association for Financial Planning and the Northern California Regional Financial Planning Conference (NCRFPC). In 1994, she became the Executive Director of the NCRFPC and assisted its evolution into the nationally-known FPA NorCal Conference. After 29 years with that organization, she recently retired.
Brenda has served as a trustee on nonprofit boards, she’s an active supporter of art and music nonprofits, and is a facilitator for Spirit House in Woodside. She was recently the oldest person in her graduating class at SF State University, completing the International Relations BA degree she began there in 1984.
